Log Run Lights is private family home located on the Westside of Indianapolis in Clermont, IN. The Christmas lights take appox. 3 weeks to put up and a team of over 25 people.
Rick & Debbie Warrum, owners, have been putting up Christmas lights for over 17 years and in the past 4 years changed to LED lights which have cut the electrical bill in half.
Rick built the light frames to withstand wind and snow. He and his team also built the huge arch over Log Run Drive, the steel North Pole carport, nutcracker, Santa’s mailbox, and donation box. The Nutcracker, named Selic, is an interactive attraction where children walking by can lift his beard to receive a candy cane treat. In 2020, Selic has given out over 4,000 candy canes!

Santa and his team, lead by Rudolf, fly over the display attached to over 20 ft. tall scaffolding.

“When I was a kid, there was always something magical about seeing lights at Christmas time. I have very fond memories of that,” Rick says. He continues to put up lights for the sheer joy to bless adults and children with something he has always been so fond of.

WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis had nominated Rick & Debbie as a finalist in 2017 “Battle of the Blubs” Out of 3 amazing finalists, Log Run Lights was announced the champion Friday, Dec. 22, 2017. They had not expected to win or entered themselves in the contest, but “It is a great honor,” Debbie said. They are wonderful people who just want to bring cheer and joy to their community.
